Utilizing Ultra-Span® cold-formed steel (CFS) design makes complete sense from an architectural perspective. A CFS building will hold its structural integrity during building lifecycle thanks to the added strength and resiliency of steel. Additionally, CFS structures never worry about warping, mold, or rot, they add LEED points and have a two-hour fire rating.
By designing a complete structure in steel, using CFS floors allows greater space for MEP routing and offer greater open designs to suit the architectural pattern of the building though their increased strength. And finally, structural steel buildings offer greater resiliency for the lifetime of the building you design.
